Proactive traffic operation in Shadwell

Today officers carried out a proactive traffic operation in Shadwell, on The Highway, aimed at improving road safety and addressing criminal and traffic-related offences.

As result of this we had:
x2 arrests - one involving a wanted offender and one for a disqualified driver
x2 vehicles seized - one for driving without insurance and one for not driving in accordance with the driving licence.
x3 drivers were processed for using mobile phones whilst driving.

We will continue to carry out proactive traffic operations and high-visibility patrols to keep our ward safe and protect our community.
